Shako:wi Finlay Antone

Youth Scholarship Fund

In the fall of 2006 BB member and friend Finlay Antone passed on. In memory of Finlay’s commitment to Beyond Boundaries’ mission and to “the seventh generation,” BB offers youth scholarships to parents wanting to take their children on a BB trip.  This coming April BB again “goes south” on its African-American Awareness trip.  The weeklong trip cost $450, adult or child.  On our past three trips south, we have taken about ten children. In particular, this trip allows young people to explore firsthand their history.

Text Box: To make exploratory travel happen for our children, we rely on donations from you, our supporters. To help us award scholarships, write a tax-deductible check to BB’s 501-C3 sponsor: Syracuse Model Neighborhood Facility, Inc. Then mail the check to Beyond Boundaries, 340 Midland Avenue, Syracuse, 13202. In advance thank you for your generosity and for opening windows for our youth.
